(More customer reviews)If you are looking for a portable air conditioner/heat pump avoid this product and manufacturer. While the unit is satisfactory when running, once any problems develop that require service outside the warranty period, you may as well junk it. My unit lasted just 14 months and developed a leak that ruined my floor. Considering that I only used the air conditioning function during the summer, it only lasted one cooling season.
There is no local service network to fix even the most minor problem. I suppose that you could ship the unit back as was suggested by Soleusair for repair, but have you ever struggled with boxing and shipping a large unit that weighs 50 or 60 pounds, to say nothing about the premium shipping and repair cost. It is cheaply made and unreliable

supplied by Grady's Hardware. I could not use the Model No. L4064B228 and returned it to Grady's Hardware per instructions. To date it has cost me $13.99 to return this item. As of this date I have not received any credit for the the item which
originally cost me $64.65.
Advice to anyone purchasing from Amazon: check all model no. to be sure you will get what you want.

(More customer reviews)The kitchen sink is on the completely opposite side of our house from the water heater. It seemingly took forever for any hot water to get there. Now there is warm water instantly and hot water is just seconds behind. It has been extremely nice this winter, avoiding freezing water from the tap.
Cheaper recirculating pumps utilize a a plastic valve under the sink that will wear out and need replacement. The body of the valve in this pump is brass and looks like it will last for a very long time.

The auto circpump is installed under the sink or faucet farthest from the water heater - wherehot water usually takes the longest amount of time to arrive. A built-in temperature sensor automatically turns the autocirc pump on when the watertemperature in the hot water supply line cools down to 85º F. This cool water in the hot water supplyline is then pumped into the cold water line and back into the water heater. The autocirc pump turns off automatically when the hot water supply line to the faucet reaches a temperature of 95º F, ensuring the instant availability of shower warm water with maximum temperature hot water only seconds behind. (More customer reviews)I bought this AC unit during the excess heat wave this summer. The unit, (once properly vented) works really well for cooling my bed room but it shuts off when the water needs drained. Durning these hot temperatures this is after only 2-2.5 hrs. Draining the water is not an easy task because the drain is only 1 inch from the floor so you can only use a really really shallow dish. It does come with a hose to connect to a drain for continous drainage but the drain must be below or at the same level as the AC unit.
This drainage problem makes the unit NOT useful for long term cooling (you can't run it all night or use it to cool while at work)
As a long term solution I am working on buidling a stand to set the unit on for continous drainage into a bucket but it is heavey and vibration makes noise a problem. Other portable AC unit have a collecting bottle which is easy to revome for drainage.

Upon my return it had failed miserably and is now in a large block of ice. The Western NY weather being what it is I will have to wait until spring to get it out...I have contacted Amazon about the return, we'll see how that goes. Also I contacted the company and they had a very curt reply about returning it to Amazon, not them. Be wary of this product and keep in mind, if it fails the ice can damage your garden,pond,trough,etc. I gave it a two because it actuall worked for a week or so.

This product works perfectly even though the room is much larger than 250sq ft.This portable AC only costs 50 cents a day to run, considerably less than running the central air. It's quieter than I expected and the air is very cold. The only thing I don't like is the instruction manual - just not enough info.The exhaust hose must be mounted properly to the outside through a window. All portable AC units create a vacuum in the room and if the exhaust hose is not practically air tight, more warm air from outside will come in than cold air blowing out. I have had it for a week now and it has yet to need the water reservoir emptied.

You can see that the chemical has drained correctly and it leaves a shiny film on the pool, but that is the extent of it. This did not help my pool temperature at all. I was hoping for it to help even a few degrees warmer, but it did not even do that. Just not a worthwhile product.

It operates a single on/off cycle during a 24-hour period, which is adjustable, requires 230 volts for operation and switches both poles (hot wires). My original timer finally expired after more than 30 years of use, so I bought this replacement from Amazon, which was less expensive than buying one from my local electrical distributor.
Fortunately, this new mechanism fits and snaps right into the old Intermatic housing. For those who just need to replace the functional parts, this greatly simplifies the installation. Amazon's price for the entire timer assembly including the metal housing was less than others charge for just the mechanism itsef.
It was shipped promptly, arrived undamaged and at a good price.

(More customer reviews)I may be wrong on the Information on this I Am Not a Plumber, This pressure relief valve may work just fine but here Is what the deal Is, I have been complaining for years to make things universal, My Water heater I think has a 3/4 Inch connection the first valve I ordered has a 5/8 Inch shank so I ordered another with a different model number and It said 3/4 Inch enough that I thought It would have a 3/4 Inch shank but It has a 5/8 Inch shank too so rather than taking a risk mail order I now have to go to Lowes to get It.

I put it together and took it apart multiple times because it was the only thing that leaked after I had the entire system set up. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but its pretty simple to put together. One thing, don't be fooled by the photos. The panels will not set up nicely against the side of your pool by themselves like the promo pictures show. (Unless someone out there knows a trick) and no one out there sells racks pre-made, so you will have to make due with placing the panels at an angle against the pool the best you can or on the ground. But in one day, with one set of 4x10ft (that's all I have room for), the temperature of the pool with the use of a solar cover, went up 5 degrees with the pump only running about 6 hours.
