(More customer reviews)These are very good. I installed quite a few in apartments and they last quite well in hard water. If you use a lower wattage element in the lower position on a 2 element water heater they will last many years even if the lime builds up to cover the element. It pays to use an adapted wet vac to remove the lime buildup when replacing elements. Always use low watt density , folded back elements like these to get good element life and reduce noise of boiling water in the water heater.
