(More customer reviews)I bought this thermostat because its sleek design, with all the controls that aren't needed daily hidden under the front cover. If you have a life that follows a very simple program, then this thermostat will work for you. But if you leave the house on an irregular basis and you don't want to keep the house heated while you are gone, it doesn't. The problem is that if you leave the home and manually turn down the temperature, it will revert back to the programmed temperature after two hours. This is neither on the box nor in the user's manual documented. But if you call their hotline, they will tell you. So the options are to turn off the program, every time you leave the home, but then you'll have to leave off the snap-on front cover, which makes this unit much more ugly than the cluttered competition (the program button is hidden). Or you turn off the program completely and use the thermostat manually, which kind of defies the purpose of this unit.
